These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bruxel Academy LLC ("Bruxel Academy," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company incorporated in Arkansas, USA.
These Terms apply to all users of bruxelacademy.com, the LearnTeachArt app, and the Prepxa app. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Bruxel Academy operates two platforms:
Bruxel Academy provides the platform infrastructure, payment processing, scheduling tools, session recordings, and in-app messaging. We do not directly employ teachers or tutors — they are independent service providers using our platform.
To use our services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit permission.
All teachers and tutors on Bruxel Academy platforms are subject to a review and approval process before they are permitted to accept students. Bruxel Academy evaluates each applicant's background, stated experience, and suitability for teaching prior to granting platform access. Approval is at Bruxel Academy's sole discretion.
All payments for sessions are processed exclusively through the Bruxel Academy platform. Teachers set their own session rates. Bruxel Academy collects a platform fee from each completed session.
Refunds: Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. Sessions cancelled with adequate notice per our cancellation policy may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Sessions completed in full are generally non-refundable unless there was a demonstrable failure of service on the platform's part.
For refund requests, contact contactus@bruxelacademy.com within 7 days of the session.
By using our platform, all participants acknowledge and consent to their sessions being recorded. Recordings are stored securely and made available to enrolled students for personal review only.
Recordings may not be downloaded, shared, published, or used for any commercial purpose without explicit written consent from Bruxel Academy and the teacher involved.
The following are strictly prohibited on all Bruxel Academy platforms:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund.
All content on the Bruxel Academy website and apps — including the logo, brand name, design, text, and software — is the property of Bruxel Academy LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Teachers retain ownership of their original teaching materials. By uploading content to the platform, teachers grant Bruxel Academy a limited license to display and deliver that content to enrolled students through the platform.
Bruxel Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these Terms, conduct harmful to other users, or any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at contactus@bruxelacademy.com. Upon termination, your access to session recordings and platform features will cease.
Bruxel Academy provides its platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, test score improvements, or artistic skill development as a result of using our services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bruxel Academy's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Bruxel Academy in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Bruxel Academy is not liable for the conduct of teachers or students on the platform beyond our reasonable moderation efforts.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Benton County, Arkansas, unless prohibited by applicable law.
